Licensing Terms
Effective October 18, 2026
These terms say what you can do with Black Palette coloring pages once you buy them. They apply to every digital product on our site: single pages, bundles, full PDFs and collections. Print books are covered at the end.
Who owns the art
KING WYNN, LLC, doing business as Black Palette Books, owns the copyright to every illustration we sell. When you buy a digital product, you buy a license to use it as these terms describe. You don’t buy the art itself. Each license covers one household: the people you live with.
Children color under their parent’s or guardian’s household license.
Personal license (every digital product)
Every digital product comes with a personal license. It covers coloring by you and the people you live with.
You can:
- Print as many copies as you want for coloring in your household
- Color them with anything you like
- Keep, frame, display or give away a page you’ve colored
- Post photos of your finished pages online (tag us, we’d love to see them)
You can’t:
- Share, forward or upload the files, including to shared drives, group chats or websites
- Print uncolored copies for people outside your household
- Sell any page, printed or digital, colored or uncolored
- Use the art in anything you make to sell, such as print-on-demand products, logos, ads or other books
- Upload the art to AI tools or use it to train AI
- Edit the art and share or sell the edited version
Event license (products marked “Event license included”)
Some products, such as the Bridal Shower Party Pack, include an event license. It gives you everything in the personal license, plus this:
The purchaser may print up to 25 copies of each page for guests at one private event. Not for resale or redistribution.
A private event is a gathering you host for invited guests, such as a shower, birthday party or family reunion. Guests can take home the pages they color.
The event license doesn’t cover:
- Public or ticketed events
- Events you are paid to plan or host
- More than one event per purchase
- Sending the files to guests
Classrooms, groups and other uses
The personal license doesn’t cover classrooms. A teacher who buys a product for home can’t print copies for students, share the files with other teachers, or post them to a school drive or learning platform.
We don’t sell classroom or group licenses yet. If you’re a teacher, librarian, church leader, therapist or group organizer and want to print pages for a group, email us before you print. Tell us what you’d like to use and how many people it’s for, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
The same goes for any use these terms don’t cover. Ask first.
Print books
A paperback, spiral or hardcover you buy is yours. You can color in it, remove and frame pages, lend it, give it away or resell the book itself. You can’t photocopy or scan its pages for other people, or share scans online.
If the terms are broken
If you use a product in a way these terms don’t allow, your license ends. You must delete the files, and we may turn off your download access.
Changes and questions
